Hey all making a few doors shaker style for a storage bin cabinet.

Jim hager a cheap easy and effective trick is to take flat tooth picks dip the end in glue and force it in between the panel and the rails or styles then break off the excess.
When you close the cabinet doors you can hear the center panel insert rattles even closing the door as softly as possible.
I ve made the cabinet doors out of a solid oak frame and a 1 4 oak plywood insert.
I expected the rubber strips cmt panalign to keep the panels from rattling but such is not the case.
