It started out faint has gotten brighter and appears to be growing. Rust stains are yellow brown stains. Remove more difficult stains and water spots with a thick paste of baking soda and water. Over time the water will begin to rust the metallic deposits inside the stone and create a yellowish stain inside the stone.

Vinegar ammonia hydrogen peroxide lemon orange or other citrus cleaners cleaners that are acidic. In situations where the carrara marble is constantly exposed to water the water can absorb and oxidize the iron so it rusts. Clean the marble with warm water and detergent. You can use a cleaner specifically meant for marble or store bought detergent.

Rust stains carrara marble contains little bits of iron. As the water evaporates it moves to the surface carrying the rust with it creating a rust stain. Iron deposits that are embedded in white marble tile especially carrara marble are typically the cause of this type of stain. This is because the pores are closed down in the polishing process.

A yellow brownish stain has begun to appear on the marble bench slab. Don t use soap as it is fat based and can cause the stone to darken. How do you make a marble poultice. Marble is not very absorbent so it does not stain easily.

Depending on what the specific stain is the solvent can be 6 percent hydrogen. Rub the paste into the stain with a soft cloth. Cover the area with plastic wrap for 24 hours. The process of making a marble poultice is very important considering that most of the stains can be removed.
